What does "corked" mean?
This is the biggest and the most common mistake made about a description of legitimate wine fault. For a wine to be corked a chemical reaction has to alter the taste and smell of the wine. It occurs with the alcohol in wine from a too harsh solvent that's used to bleach corks. If it's corked mildly you will only lose some of the aromas of the fruit but if it's corked badly it will smell like wet cardboard.
2007 Mike Weir Pinot Noir
Mike Weir Pinot Noir is very comparable to any other Pinot Noir's offer for around $20. This wine goes very well with food and finishes very nicely in your palate. Being from the Ontario region in Canada this Pinot Noir is quite light. I would like to comment on the label on the bottle which was very simple yet very attractive and effective.
2007 Mike Weir Chardonnay
Mike Weir makes wine, and he gets involved with the winemaking process. All wines are produced in Ontario in Canada which has a very limited production and season so there's less of it. Just so you are aware partial proceeds from his wine goes to his foundation that funds children's charities. But what about the wine? I am not a big Chardonnay lover. But I am a big Mike Weir fan. This Chardonnay is light and clean and was quite good with very little oak. So if you enjoy is citrusy Chardonnay as opposed to a very oaky this is the one for you.

2003 Chateau Moulin La Graviere de Pommerol
We had this lovely bottle of wine on New Years Eve. I always usually really like wine from Bordeaux. This one needed a little bit air even after being open for 15 minutes but was really good. This wine is around the $20, $25 and of great value.
